Cincinnati Opera Storybook Hours
4/1, 5/7, 6/11 1pm
Storytime with Cincinnati Opera! We are delighted to offer this interactive program featuring stories based on the art form of Opera! Cincinnati opera teaching artists will read an opera storybook and sing and/or play recordings of operatic selections. The students will be lead in a craft activity following the story. For example, with The Magic Flute, students will create their own Papageno and Papagena masks (a bird catcher and his bride.) Our teaching artist will engage students with questions about key ideas and details to ensure their understanding of the story. A fun and creative experience.
